about us

I would like to introduce Red Wolf Mediation & ADR Services. My english name is David Noganosh, my spirit name is (Spotted Hawk) and I am a Mediator, Negotiator and Trainer from the Anishinabek Nation, Wolf Clan. I am President and CEO of Red Wolf Mediation & ADR Services, a company I founded in 2012 and is the only First Nations owned and operated Mediation Firm in Ontario. Prior to this sole proprietorship I was actively facilitating violence prevention, conflict resolution and anger management programs in Aboriginal and African Canadian communities for many years.I joined St. Stephen’s Conflict Resolution & Training in 2008 where I was an Associate Mediator and Trainer until 2013. St. Stephens Community House utilizes a Transformative Mediation model that stresses interest-based problem solving. This model helps people reach agreements, rebuilds relationships between people in conflict, and empowers them to solve their own problems in the future. Transforming the way they think about conflict and each other.I have been involved in local, regional and national politics for 20 years in various capacities and have recently been consulting with various stakeholders across the country in advancing the Treaty Rights and Land Claims of First Nations.

I am proposing a fundamental shift in the way we negotiate Land Claims by changing the name to Land Interests. I have also been invited to the roster of Chambers Mediation International out of the United Kingdom in my efforts to bring my experience and expertise to negotiations around the globe. I am bringing my Mediation/ADR training expertise to Indigenous communities in an effort to address lateral violence and build community capacity. To this end, I have also consulted with world renowned Mediator Kenneth Cloke to design my Mediation/ADR Training for tribal nations in conflict.I have mediated numerous organizational, landlord/tenant, community and neighbourhood disputes and facilitated many town hall meetings on various issues directly related to First Nations. I was instrumental in the implementation of the Family Community Council, an Aboriginal Dispute Resolution initiative at Aboriginal Legal Services of Toronto.  The program was the first of its kind in a Canadian urban setting and has proven to be very successful in addressing Aboriginal child welfare matters. I have also trained extensively in Principled Negotiation with Stitt Feld Handy Group. The SFHG delivers training in Negotiation, Mediation, Arbitration, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and communication skills, using the latest adult education techniques. In 2012, I was also selected Commissioner with the inaugural Anishinabek Nation Tribunal and Commission (ANTC). The ANTC provides Adjudication, Mediation and Aboriginal ADR approaches to 39 First Nations in Ontario. As a compliment to my Workplace Conflict Management, I am now a Certified Workplace Fairness Analyst (WFA) with the Workplace Fairness Institute. This designation gives me the knowledge and tools to build proactive conflict management systems in union and non-union environments.

Strategic Alliance

Red Wolf Mediation & ADR Services is also aligning our efforts with the extractive industry and we have recently partnered with Dion Arnouse – President & CEO 2 Badgers Consulting Inc out of West Bank First Nation in BC to provide Aboriginal Engagement and Workshops on the East Coast. The 2Badgers team’s passion lies in facilitating partnerships between Industry and First Nations communities with a unique focus on Community Engagement strategies and offering strategic advice and guidance on capacity building initiatives. We not only assist Industry with engaging Aboriginal communities in a respectful manner, we also assist many communities with their socio-economic goals.
